So I added a new wrasse about a week ago....my black clown has never bothered any of my fish, but he has relentlessly gone after my wrasse. I thought I would give it a few days and see if it subsides. Well, it didn't, so I caught the wrasse and put him in a small acclimation box I made. Now for the questions: 1. How long should I leave the fish in the acclimation box? 2. For those that use them, do you find the fish will eat just fine even though they are confined to a relatively small space? 3. Lastly, do you think this will solve the problem? Or will I need to pull the clown and donate it? Thanks |

If there is room enough for a rock and some Macro, the Wrasse will do much better. Fish training works.  Sorry but there is nowhere but my thread where you can read about it. I ran into the same problem about a month ago. I added a wrasse and my maroon clown thought she was boss. So I let them go at it a couple of days and then one day the wrasse turned on the clown. No problems since then! |
