i have a sicca syncra 3.5 and its loud. can i set it on anything in the sump to make it quieter?

A rubber pad usually helps.

I used a Mouse pad and that helped alot.

Well I just did a search on the internet for your pump and hit a bunch of links with people complaining about how loud that particular pump is.

Picked up a rubber mat and its a lot quieter
