Did I buy the wrong kind? Can I convert from percentage to what we use? ------------- 90 Gallon Reef w/4 bulb 54W t5 I buy, sell and restore pinball machines. Got one in the basement? ;) |

Is it a ppt reading? Might be worth borrowing someone's refractometer or hydrometer or maybe picking up a cheap hydrometer locally to compare against, some stores will check parameters for you also if you bring them a sample to test. Brix is definitely geared towards alcohol percentage rather than salt so it would make sense if it's just giving you an erroneous reading. ------------- 12G Nano Cube | DIY LED Member of GCFB |
