So a testament to not giving up... i bought a paly frag at the last meeting and it started to close up and die... well, two weeks later guess who is comin back out? Yep! So dont give up on sad looking corals until there is absolutely nothing left!

Very good advice. Even white Acro skeletons have been known to start growing a patch of flesh.

I whole heartedly agree!! I have a red planted that looked as if it was gone, but now after buying some new powerheads and some great food from benepets, I can see the life coming back

I'll chime in as well. Got about 5 heads of candycane. Shriveled up to almost nothing. Thought to myself " looks like I'll be throwing that away soon". A few days later, a complete turn around. Growing like crazy! Let life find a way!

I had a superman monti completely bleach out and look totally dead. I never pulled it out thinking it would just get covered by coralline and blend into the rocks. Well a de weeks later I noticed a few polyps on a patch that was regaining color. Months later it is now doing quite well and has grown to be larger than it's original size.

Ive seen quite a few corals die off and then come back twice as nice as they were. It's like they need to reboot. Sorta how a wildfire does so well for the vegetation.
