Does anyone have one of these kicking around? I need a new light cover (splash guard) for mine. What are the dimensions of the splash guard? I have some of the thin acrylic that I removed from other lights that I would be happy to cut for you. It would be pretty difficult to make that work. The piece I need is a molded piece. I have to remove it every time I change a lamp and it is just getting worn out. Just some things to think about. Maybe they will help - maybe they won't. If a splash guard is really needed (most of the time it isn't), maybe a flat piece of acrylic can be used in it's place. It does not need to be air tight. A longer screw with a length of vinyl tubing used as a spacer.... Often, when we look at the reason for the item, we can devise a simple way to make what seems like a complicated and costly repair. I like not having to top off the water often. Mark, what have you noticed about the relation between ph and water evaporation (or lack of)?
