A while back on marinedepot they had announced Euroquatics brand E5 led retrofit bulbs. They only came in 5k and 10k but stated that they would be releasing 15k and "blue pop" in the near future. Now on marinedepot it says product discontinued ...bummer... A quick google search only gave a few hits with not much to go on.

I see other companies making led lights designed to install directly into T-5 fixtures but really only see them in the 3k-6.5k spectrums.

I'm still fairly new to the hobby and havent heard about these lights before.  Could you enlighten me some?  are they a good fit in a T5 fixture when you only replace one or two?  They sound interesting

It is possible that longing for something is actually better than having it. Satisfaction is the death of desire.

I havent actually owned one yet to tell you 100% of how effective they are... But the idea is that they are plug and play with a T5 fixture to replace the T5 bulbs. They are supposed to be the same output as a T5 but only use half the wattage.
