Topic: Reefkeeper 2 Posted: April 01 2006 at 9:54am |
After reading about ShaneH and H2o's terrible experiences with electrical problems I finally found the stone that would kill two birds. If anyone had seen the mess of cords I had by the side of my tank, (on the floor) probably knew that it was an accident waiting to happen.
I bought the reefkeeper 2 to get all the cords up off the floor, and I wanted a controller for my tank. We spent a couple of hours last night seperating all the cords and finding out which one went where, and a little after midnight we finally had the mess cleaned up. It looks a lot better now and It's nice to have a controller also. Here are some pics of it now.. I stole Eric and Dans idea on how to mount it, It's kind of cool.
And , if anyone wants to come by and check it out , give me a call, you are welcome to.

Brad,
Keep us posted on how well you like this controller. I've considered getting one as well.
Thanks,

Looking clean. Having a controller is like peace of mind.
I enjoy the pictures of the inside of the tank better though.

I went today and picked up my Reef Keeper2 today. It will be nice not shutting off pumps and resetting timers when the power goes and so on. Your setup looks great Brad! I like the suction arm that holds the computer. I am going to have get me one also.

Yes I did. He said that he got his arm at Best Buy. Maybe I will look online and see what I can find. For now I just velcro'd it to the stand.
