Does the hood for a bio cube need to be modified for a skimmer made for the bio cube? Any pics of one with or without please.

Don't waste your time with that. Macroalgae growing in the tank and a small bag of AC for two weeks out of the month can do the same if not better than a skimmer.

Mark, Mark,Mark,
You know that up North here we teach the power of the Skimmer.
Here's a skimmer with no mod, just let her rip 24/7. See the power of the cyclone going. You don't have to wait, it sucks everything up in 5 minutes.Wink

Actually I picked this up from Adam last night and I wanted to clean up fast.  I did get a 1/2 cup of skim in fairly short time.
As you can see from what is in the tank, I usually follow Mark's knowledge.
This is going to be new Seahorse tank for my girls.

I am building one for my BC8 that will fit under the hood.  I have everything done but the cup.  I'll try and get a picture of it.

I have the skimmer for the biocube in mine and it fits with the lid on and down. Its fully designed for the biocube 14g and 29g so it will fit perfectly.
