There is an "Introduction to Coral Reef Ecology" lecture tonight
(Wednesday, Jan 10th) at the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. The
lecture starts at 7:00pm and costs $35. More information can be found

Wow, that was AWESOME.  I think I was the only person there who wasn't related to one of the speakers.  It was the staff, their families, and me.  But I have to admit they did a great job!  I was very impressed with the presentation and more importantly with the actual staff. 
If they plan to do this again (they said they were hoping to next fall) I'm sure I could get a few dozen of my friends to attend.  Oh, but it would have to be free of course. 
Very very impressive.
