Heh heh you would think that if they wanted to have a successful scam, they might want to employ someone that speaks the language.

You wouldn't believe the number of scams I get in email. Some of them are VERY well done. I get them spoofed as Ebay, PayPal, Banks, etc. I even get the Nigeria one.
The scary thought is...how many people get taken by them. I know there are task forces trying to apprehend the culprits of some of the more professional ones. The FBI is was working on the Nigeria one (at least for a while). PayPal is trying to stop the one spoofing them, etc.
Here is one I keep getting:
Dear valued Citizens® Bank member,

The only way to keep these scams out is to unplug that stupid little cable from the back of your computer. It looks like a phone cord.
Just do like I do and use the delete key freely on your e-mail. Mine is getting worn out.
Don't you love it when you get those from banks like in the post above that are from banks you didn't even know existed. "OH, No! My Scottish Bank of the European Community account might be suspended?"
I think it is the E-Bay and PayPal scams that take the most people.

Then there's people like my sister-in-law. She's going to save the world through emails.
She forwards so many emails that ask the reader to call a congressman, sign a survey, or boycott a product or store.
I get two or three a day from her. I don't have the heart to tell her that I usually delete them without even reading them.
