If you pressure washed it and got inches away to kick off the lichen, whatever is left will be no problem in any tank.

If you are placing it into an unstocked tank, I would say that you really have no worries. Going into a stocked tank, a bit at a time is the best bet. All I did was rinse the rocks well. I left the lichens on and had no problems.

On this Utah Rock, actually Lake Bonneville Tufa (thanks Mark!), I havepressure washed all the rocks and there is still some lichens(spelling)on it.  Do I have to make sure I get all of it off?  Is alittle bit of it deadly, or am I fine?  Also if I boiled the rock,would that help?  Any info is appreciated.
