I use coralife. And I do 10 % weekly. 6 months and nitrates never get above 2ppm. Phosphates are reading zero. He jas doubled in size in 2, months and was eating mysis shrimp. Ok so with a 75 gallon tank, and 3 tangs, it might be nitrates and phospates that might be causing you chalice issues. You don't want to increase it if it's not low. You need to have it tested first. No, i am poor in college. I dont have a magnesium test kit. :( I do regular waterchanges. My other chalice is doing fine though. What can i use that will increase magnesium???

So my miami hurricane chalice was doing awesome but in one day flat it decided to start shriveling up. . . :( Part of his skeleton is showing and i think he might be a gonner. :( Anything i can do.
I do have a coral beauty in my reef, but i havent seen him nip at anything, and if he did wouldnt he go for the softies???? :( Anyone have a miami hurricane chalice i can buy from them??? I want another go. ..
