Once you have it cut off you can just remove the bulkhead yourself and replace it with a new one, I've had to do just that several times with tanks and overflows that came with funky glued angular pvc setups.&nbsp;</p>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=4009">Molli</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 58477<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> August&nbsp;16&nbsp;2012 at 1:41pm<br /><br />Are there any LFS that will remove an existing bulkhead and put in a new one?&nbsp; I bought a used tank and the bulkhead has an elbow&nbsp;fitting on it that I don't want to use as I've been told that the current design will end up making a loud gurgling noise as it drains water to the sump.&nbsp; I doubt that I can get the fitting off, so I'm thinking about just having the bulkhead replaced.&nbsp; This is a glass tank and I'm trying to avoid breaking it!&nbsp; Gosh this is difficult for a first timer here figuring out how to get the water from the tank to the sump and back again.&nbsp; I was going to order parts today online and they were very helpful but of course the first question they asked me has put me at a standstill due to this elbow fitting on the bulkhead!&nbsp; sigh ...]]>
