ok so i have to unidentified objects in my tank. the first is kind of cool looking but might be bad. i dont know! it looks like an anemone but the body is a pink color and the tentacles are green with a fat bubble tip like end on them? does not look like my tulip anemones. any ideas? mark it came in your halimeda. at least that is where it is at. the second are little white things on my glass. they move rather quickly and look like they have legs. they dont move like a worm per-say. any ideas? i was thinkin flatworms but have no idea. my chromis ate one though so that was cool to watch. i would show pics but you couold never see either thing.

Copepods on the glass.Clap

Tulip anemones are in the class of Majano Anemones, those that most people consider pests. When Majano look pretty we don't consider them such a pest.Wink

I have two color varieties. The greener ones are over next to where the Halimeda grows.

are they really copepods mark? they are tiny bugs that hang out in the algae and can move very quickly. is this anemone/thing anything to worry about. this thing is pinkish magenta in the middle and has green tips.

It's a "pretty" Majano type of anemone.

Copepod

Amphipod/ Grammarus

...for the first little while.  I thought I had a couple beautiful Tulip Anemones.  Now I have tons of beautiful tulip anemonies that I can't kill and lost 2 colonies of zoanthids to them so far.

I for one hate these things.

Does anyone have a surefire way to get rid of them.  I'm really considering trying a Kliens butterfly.
