I am finally setting up my tank and I have a bunch of ball valves, bends etc.. that are threaded. My question is should I use teflon to seal the pieces together, glue or will they be fine without either of them? I am worried about leakage. I also am using a little flex hose.

Teflon tape.

Teflon paste is great as well.

o just use both i cant hurt unless you do it wrong them you have to start  from scratch
