Could a skimmer be converted to a kalkwasser?  I have an old protien skimmer, I am wondering if it could be converted to a kalkwasser system?

If anyone has any ideas on this and how to do it i would like to sit down with you.  my problem is I dont have any tools I can use to do anything with.  My shop is full of storage stuff until I build a garage or build another storage unit.  So I am unable to do anything myself. 
 
I would be williing to work with you on this.  Please help

I have used a "Tap Water Filter" as one in the past. I used a piece of rigid tubing to make a U shape from the inlet hole in the bottom (the u prevented the Kalkwasser from filing/plugging the hole).  I drilled the  hole in the bottom cap so the rigid tube would just fit in it. I then put it in line with my aqua lifter pump I was using for top off. It was not quite as efficient as a real reactor, but it took about 5 minutes to put together and did fine in a smaller tank that had a fairly heavy sps load.

I have also purchaed one of those medical iv drip dosing pump.

I also have a phosban reactor.  Could that be converted to a kalkwasser?
