I know this has been asked before but I'm looking for a more specific answer. I want to put in a RO/DI for my tanks and for drinking. My in-laws have one of those huge coffee makers that grinds, brews, and steams. To keep deposits low the maker suggests distilled water. When I was talking about installing an RO/DI unit they asked if it could replace thier distilled water. I know with aquariums it's not suggested to use distilled but in this case can RO/DI replace distilled?
