Ready for another crappy piant drawing? actualy, sorry not this time. But - i have two heads of candy canes that are curently splitting, but they are showing alot of skeleton below the heads, like white skeleton. I do weekly water changes and they have tehm in the lighting that they have always had with no problem. I havent feed them for a while though - is this the reason? Also- the clear feeder tentacles are also smaller looking....

HAHAHA... torch corals are the single nastiest coral you can have aside from Galaxia and I have both.  I use them as a population control element for my birds nest colony... and another fast growing coral.  Its ugly but aside from selling them there is no way around it if your tank is getting full....

One thing that can help is to adjust power heads to get a flow that biases the stingers to move away from the coral its killing.  Else if you have room move them... they at least don't seem to kill each other or Hammer corals... but thats about the only thing they wont kill.
