I am looking for some LED's that are on the cheaper side for my 8 gallon nuvo. Was gonna get AI nano but seeing what else there is. Want to be able to grow about anything. Looking for personal experience.

I've gone with cheaper LED's and if I were to go back and have a do over I would have gotten the AI nano or the maxspect nano razor.

I do have a 72 watt dimmable fixture that I got off amazon it was 199 but I had gift cards so I paid like 130 for it. Its pretty decent for the price. its probably overkill for an 8 gallon tank but it is dimmable..

I can tell you what to look for... Dont get set UPS with only blue and white. Get a mixed spectrum fixture. There are several new ones out there. Blue and white just don't give color and growth like a mixed would. Look for fixtures with neutral white, cool white, blue, royal blue, and violet leds. Some long wavelength red would be useful too but there aren't but one that I've seen with it. But the red should be minimal. Dont go cheap with them, you get what you pay for... Also, some seeee a bit overpriced.

Yeah sometimes it stings dropping that much dough but I think you'd be really happy with that fixture. I really like AI's products although I haven't owned AI but plan to on any future builds.
