Does anyone know if porcelain crabs ( neopetrolisthes ohshimai I think ) are strictly filter feeders, or are they scavengers too? I would like to keep one in a smaller aquarium but only if it can do without a lot of planktonic food. Here is a link to a picture of the kind I am wondering about: http://www.divegallery.com/Porcelain_crabs.htm

Mine will eat just about anything, i have fed it cyclpoese, frozen brine, and even a chunk of cocktail shrimp.  It doesn't seem ideal for him to tear up large peices of food, but anything smaller like brine shrip he will definitely eat.  I highly recomend this crab, they are so cool to watch, perched with thoes bristled claws hanging in the curent.  I can actually feed mine by hand now wich is cool.
