anyone have multiple and one that is loud and one that is quiet? Do they get quieter?

I had that problem with my MP40s. Try pulling the wet sides out and disassembling them. Soak them in vinegar for an hour or two. Also check that the bearings aren't worn out when you take them apart.

Hmm brand new just turned it on so if one of those is the problem that is just not ok

there's a little plastic piece that fits in the front and holds the propeller in tight. make sure that piece is there..

Make sure the cable coming out of the dry side is pointing up, not any other direction, most likely the dry and wet sides are off center, causing the noise to happen.

The cable is coming straight up. Haven't yet messed with it yet I will later. And let you know what I figure out.

Turn the pumps on full power in constant speed mode. Make slight adjustments to the positioning of the wet side. If they are misaligned you should be able to quiet them down with this method.

I am starting to wonder if one sound louder because of a the sound reflecting off the wall and the other one doesn't.
