they HATE light. That is about all I know. I saw mine 6 months after I got done adding rock and I haven't seen it since. Mike on the other hand saw that one a couple of times because he figured out it's schedule. I have a very large "flatworm" like you describe in my tank. Mine is a polyclad flatworm. If you do a search on this site for polyclad flatworm you will see some pics that someone posted of one in their tank. Actually, 3" is not a typical flatworm and even so, I doubt it's a problem. It's more likely a Seaslug or Nudibranch and eats algae or bacterial slime. I would suggest observation and enjoyment of this unique creature. If you find that it's eating something you want to keep, then just reach in and grab it when it's out at night. Yes, with your fingers.Big%20smile Or get a stick to push/pry it off the surface and then grab it with fingers or in a net. It won't hurt you. If you decide to remove it, please call me. I'd be happy to have it.

Hello!
 
I think I have a flatworm in my 24g nanocube. It looks like a gray very fast moving mushroom coral about 3 ins. long. It slithered under some LR when the lights came on. Does anyone know how to catch it?
