What types of wood did you use? If you used a combination of pine and oak, you might be able to offset contrasts with different pigments of stain if you want to get a natural wood look. Also, take into account the grain. It can look similar, but they are different.</P><P>As for painting, I really don't like black furniture. What color are your walls? Maybe you could do a light base with the trim a darker, more vibrant color. I think that you should blend the stand into the room as much as possible and let the tank itself pop if you don't have other natural wood furniture.</P><P>I have been watching way too much TLC.
