Silicone#2 should not be used. They put the aquarium disclaimer on there so they are not responsible if you use it and it fails. Make sure all of your pieces are clean and dry. (it works for glass NOT ACRYLIC.) You can use it to glue in acrylic baffels in a glass tank, but not to put together a acrylic sump.]]>
