That makes sense.<br>Personally, that's the situation where I would use the more permanent epoxy instead of superglue. To avoid that altogether, half the time I attach frags to fist sized pieces of Utah Rock. I usually just glue that to my bigger rocks. I am not sure if u are aware but it takes a really long time for them to encrust the small rock completely and then onto the larger rock. During that time is when it gets knocked off. However I really like turbo snails they hunt for food all day and night. As always Mark I dont know where I would be without your "expert" opinion. A small dab just enough to cover the bottom of the cut is what I use.<br><br>I also avoid Turbo Snails. <img src="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /><br><br>If it's Euphyllia (frogspawn and it's cousin varieties) and I can't find a nice hole that will hold the stalk, then I may use epoxy with a sand coating to make it look more natural.<br>]]>

I have always used superglue gel. Im starting to get sick of it though. I noticed it gets brittle over time then my turbo snails knock the frags off. Does this stuff stay strong? How big is a tube compared to a tube of dollar store super glue?]]>

I buy larger 20g tubes on eBay for cheap and it lasts a long time. Usually takes around 30 seconds underwater to stick. I get the&nbsp;2oz. bottle for around $8. It is an adhesive for gluing acrylic to glass and has to be used on a clean dry surface. It's reef safe after it cures. ]]>

I have also got some super glue gel from my husbands work(O'reily Auto) and it sucked! I think out of the ones I have used the cheap stuff from the dollar store has worked the best.<br />Also I have just glued softies with it as well to a piece of rock and it has worked fine.]]>
