    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=3028">nate</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 46788<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> February&nbsp;13&nbsp;2011 at 12:26pm<br /><br />What is an acceptable amount of ph fluctuation for a typical day cycle?&nbsp; I am not currently having any specific issues just wondering and wanting to be proactive.<br><br>Here is a chart from a few days for my tank.<br><br><img src="uploads/3028/chart2.jpg" height="403" width="803" border="0" /><br><br>I have a 90G tank with a 20G sump.&nbsp; I am running reverse daylight with Chaeto.&nbsp; I am dosing a 2-part daily, that's what the jump and then slight drop in ph is every morning.<br><br>Lighting - 6 retrofit T-5's <br><br>Current Water Parameters:<br>Ammonia - 0<br>Nitrite - 0<br>Nitrate - 0<br>Phosphate - 0<br>Alk - 8.6<br>Calcium - 400<br>Magnesium - 1290<br>SG - 1.024<br>Temp - 78<br>]]>
