That's the purpose of a Refugium - to grow algae there so it doesn't grow in the display.<br><br>I'd add just a few snails to the Refugium to help in harvesting nuisance algae as it grows. I'd also recommend changing the Refugium light bulb to a cooler white. I would not encourage nuisance algae growth, even in the Refugium. A bright cool white bulb grows marine algae really well, capturing nutrients that would ordinarily be used by algae in the display tank.<br>]]>
