I'm not so sure I agree with a large water change, because that will just add an extra shock to the tank. I had a tiger tail die about 2 weeks ago. I came home and immeditely noticed something wrong. After looking closely I noticed a slime...everywhere. My first thought was large water change but started thinking how much water would you have to change to make a big difference...50-70%? I cleaned all filters, my mp10 and mp40 covers were so slimely it felt like holding a fish!!! I put the filters back in and left them on for around 15-30 minutes, cleaned and repeated until slime was almost gone, during that time I set up a magnum 350 with fresh carbon. I then removed all filters and ran the magnum for 1 day, removed, cleaned and replaced the carbon. Ran it for 2 days straight and only had minimal coral loss.
 
Oh yea, no fish loss!!!!

Water change and carbon is all I can think of too. My tank is full of them, it just keeps splitting. So the cucumber is still alive? I'd remove it from the system to make sure it doesn't eventually die and poison the tank. Here is some info for you:
Caution:
  • The Baseodiscus species is poisonous in nature and therefore, it should be handled and maintained by the expert aquarists only.
  • If threatened, Tiger Tail Cucumber expels its internal organs which are lethally poisonous for any fish in your marine aquarium. Therefore, do not keep fish and the Baseodiscus species in the same reef tank.
  • Tiger Tail Cucumber secretes poisonous membranes if it is disturbed or if it dies. In case the cucumber dies in your marine aquarium, change your aquarium’s water several times and place some carbon tied in a net near your aquarium filter to completely free your tank of any toxins.

Yes I'm aware of that Im going to start the carbon tonight and do the water change tomorrow.

How much carbon should I used? I guess with both tanks and the sump it about 350g
