That's a Gorgonian. It's very easy to cut and propagate. Unless I was trying to propagate it, I would carefully rip it off the second rock and reposition it, pushing it's base slightly into the sand bed so it stands upright.It has a core stick center that is almost like wood. .

I have this coral that attached in 2 spots and was wondering if it would be ok to cut it?


I the pic its attached to the rock in the sand and the big rock its touching
