It looks like from the first pic you posted and that FTS that you have a powerhead pointed almost directly at it. If that is the case try aiming the powerhead a different direction, or move it a bit. I've personally had this happen to the edge of a plating monti before. <br /><br />Also, you said you only see a bit of green with the actinics on. 10K bulbs are great for growth, but even with supplemental lighting don't bring out the colors of your acros. <br /><br />]]>

I would definitely move the coral to a place a little further downstream of those two.<br><br>I believe you use AC, correct? Is it running all the time and do you replace it every 2-3 weeks. The reason I ask this is because I see a tank that is packed with coral, some of which do not get along too well. Running good AC and good coral placement are key to helping "everybody" play together. If you would like to see a similar tank situation, call and visit Ross Bagshaw in Bountiful. He isn't on the MB but it's his wife that makes the treats for the WMAS meetings. His tank is awesome with all kinds of coral and good growth, like yours. <img src="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><br>]]>
