At the end of Dec. I noticed it climbing and it was aroud 1500 at that time, so I cut the dosing in half and it seemed to stablize a little. I thought! Then around the end of Jan. it tested at 1780, so I stopped all dosing on Jan 24. It has slowly fallen but only 0010 to 0020 every week or two. It seemed to settle at 1400 - 1440 around the first of April and has stayed the same. Back in Dec. I had Coralline Algae growing on the glass, but I think the high level of Mag. has kinda stopped it. Like I said, I'm not too concerned right now....or should I be? I just figured I will keep monitoring it.

Alk - 9

Cal - 430

I keep checking my mag level and haven't had to dose for nearly 2 months. I'm starting to think I may have a bad test kit. (Red Sea)
Nothing appears wrong with the tank, it is a mature tank with rock over 4 years old.
