Ive used it ever since I started a nano. Like said above its easy to use. What. Is that really all it is. Carbon and gfo? If so how does it last so long? I hope its more then that and works well. Everyone seems to be happy with it and say it works grat. In a small tank it would work great. But with bigger tanks it would be cheaper to buy bulk carbon and gfo. I got some Chemi-Pure Elite at one of the Mountain West Reef Fests. It performed as expected. However, It looked like it was mostly Activated carbon, but it did have other "stuff" mixed in. What I liked about it, was its ease of use. Ok. So story goes I was going to buy my carbon when I stumbled across chemi-pure. Says it last ssix months and works better then carbon for crystal clear water and removes ammonia and nitrate nitrite, yada yada. Does anyone here use this and in your experience does it really last for six months and make that big of a difference? I am really getting sick of buying carbon so this would save a ton of money and time if it really works.
