Also, many people lump zoanthids, palythoas, protopalythoas, etc. all under zoanthids. Protopalythoas will eat insane amounts of food...of just about any size and variety. <br /><br />As far as feeding, I do a homemade blender mix of raw seafoods, algae, garlic, amino acids, and a bit of sugar.]]>

If you drop small mysis or brine in them and they grab it, close up, and open a few mins later with the food gone, then it eats. Most small polyps don't accept food IME. <br /><br />It's important to mention that you don't HAVE to feed zoanthids or palys. They will continue to grow just fine without food. That being said, I personally enjoy giving my palys a snack from time to time when I have time to spot feed some of my corals.]]>

I use reef dna, oyster feed, phyto plankton. Fuel is also a simlar food at a good price. some zoas need very small food to eat. (Below 50 microns or so I believ). So it all depends on the demands of your coral.]]>
