I run my ato that way and have no problem. Oh ya you can do that... you just have to keep an eye on the ffloat for when it gets dirty and replace it every so often when you don't feel safe anymore. Im setting up a new system and was going to run the water supply from the RODI into a 10 gallon holding tank and then use one of those aqua lifter pumps for top off. Then I got thinking.... Hmmm can I not use a holding tank and just run my RODI line directly to my sump using a float valve to shut it off? Or am I just asking for trouble?
