I was able to have pretty much every kind of sps thrive expect for those.  I could never get any of my efflos to really take off.  <br /><br />By the way that tank you posted is one of my very favorites.  ]]>

They are actually very hardy compared to other sps. Only thing I can think of is that those who are having a hard time with them is because they have wild pieces. Find yourself an aquacultured piece and it'll grow great and fast actually.&nbsp;]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=4">Mark Peterson</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 64612<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> May&nbsp;29&nbsp;2013 at 4:02pm<br /><br />Aloha Cuong,<br><br>Seems like I remember hearing that some of the Acropora common in the hobby, that in the ocean grew in a tabling form, in our tanks just grow branches.<br>From what I remember, there we two reasons:<br>- lack of powerful full spectrum sunlight which in the ocean causes coral to grow a denser skeleton<br>- lack of natural wave turbulence which makes coral grow a stronger skeleton<br><br>I'm not sure I would want all tabling coral anyway. The shade causes a bare area underneath the coral.
