The setup is just what came with it. I am not sure about the lighting but I think I may over feed a bit. But it didn't start until I put more sand in from someone's tank who was selling off his stock. I only have 2 percs and 2 blennies for fish.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=483">dkle</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 6665<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> May&nbsp;23&nbsp;2005 at 8:10pm<br /><br />Most likely red slime algae aka cyanobacteria.&nbsp; I'll save MarkPeterson a post here by asking that you disclose your tank setup andparameters such as size, light, filtration system/methods, age,livestock.<br><br>Cyanobacteria flourish when there are extra nutrients in the tank andlittle flow.&nbsp; Do you have a good skimmer? good refugium with lotsof macro growth to export nutrient?&nbsp; do you have a lot of fish? doyou feed a lot?<br><br>Just a few question to start the conversation!<br><br>Also, if you need macroalgae, I always have lots of free chaeto to give away!<br>]]>

I haven't done anything dif. other than add some live sand to my tank. It is mostly on the sand but there is some on my sponges and on some of my corals.
