Because it's a nuisance algae and keeping it within "moderation" will require constant pruning. Nip it in the butt now and replace it with a much more beautiful Acro. [/QUOTE]

That algae is beautiful, in moderation. In that pic it adds color to the tank. Why get rid of it?
