Occasional fasting is healthy in several ways, including expelling waste from the body and allowing the tanks biofiltration to "catch up".

Assuming a fish is picking at food growing in the tank, why not feed the tank the things that make natural foods grow better/faster? Feeding planktonic foods like algae paste and pulverized frozen foods makes all kinds of bugs, tiny polyps and algae grow which in turn feeds the larger animals. Just a thought.

Aloha

P.S. One of the two anemones has healed nicely and can go home. The other is healing more slowly and needs to stay a little longer.
He has eaten mysis within an hour of introduction. He has started to fatten up more. He seems to be doing very well, he goes crazy for mysis

I just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas of how to get him to accept other kinds of food. I try feeding him clam ima shell & he doesn't even pay attention to it. I would like to get him to eat food such as flakes & pellets.

I know that they are very picky eaters but I just want to see if anyone has any suggestion or experience with them.

Thank you
