You've probably heard of Marco Rock from Florida. Well, we have our own local resources that work awesomely for a reef tank. An ancient ocean, Lake Bonneville covered this land 10,000 years ago. My wife and I just moved to Sandy from Northern Virgina.  I have been keeping fish tanks for about 10 years now but sadly had to leave everything behind in VACry.  BUT! I will be working on setting up a 210 sps tank in the next few weeks, so stay tuned! 
I am looking forward to meeting some fellow reefers, it looks like you have a nice community here.
