    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.utahreefs.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=4228">Softplan</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 74899<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> February&nbsp;17&nbsp;2015 at 1:15pm<br /><br />I have a 24 gallon nano cube that I would possibly like to do as a seahorse tank. &nbsp;Those with experience please give your experience and opinion.<div><br></div><div>Here's what I would like.</div><div>Pair of seahorses</div><div>Lots of decorative algae for looks, control nitrates and phosphates, and use to feed fish in my other tank.</div><div>Possibly pom pom crab</div><div>hermit crabs to help control hair algae</div><div>snails for a cleanup crew</div><div>any other creatures that will get along.</div><div><br></div><div>My concern. &nbsp;I've heard seahorses are sensitive to illness from other fish and bacteria. &nbsp;Will having the other critters compromise the seahorses, also will other critters thrive in lower temperatures. &nbsp;From reading it looks like it's best to keep temps under 75.</div><div><br></div><div>Any input, opinions, advice, ideas, and 24 gallon nano tank mods will be much appreciated.</div><div><br></div><div>Also if you have seahorses let me know how long you have had them. &nbsp;With any new creatures please tell me the good and bad of keeping them to help make my decision.</div><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Softplan - February&nbsp;17&nbsp;2015 at 7:37pm</span>]]>
