I agree with Krazie.
The way I look at fish food, I ask myself if it were steak or chicken, would I feed it to my family. Has it been thawed and refrozen? Questionable frozen fish food is easy to toss in the trash. The health of the animals in my systems is more important to me than a few $$ worth of food.

As long as they are unopened and have been frozen the entire time then there is really no risk in using them. Risk meaning that they won't harm your fish or make them sick.

Keep in mind that the longer they are frozen and not used the more the nutrients are broken down and the oils disperse thus reducing the nutritional content of what you are feeding. If I have older frozen food I will generally buy some new food and mix the two in the blender (probably throw some other foods in there and some small pieces of nori) and refreeze as sheets or cubes to feed. That way it gets freshened up and builds some additional nutrients into the food.

I have many unopened blister packs of frozen food. It's kind of old more than a year. How long is it good for? Is there any risk in using it.
