No, the eggs are lower down under the abdomen. This is on the side of the carapace. 3 of my Pederson's shrimp have lump protruding out of the bottom portion of their carapace. Before I fight to try to get a photo up on here I figured I'd ask and describe it first. The lump is clear with tiny tan spots on it.
