So I just got a long tentacle anemone that won't stay put. It keeps slowly moving along the rock and I am getting sick of moving my corals. For now it is right next to a devil's hand (I think anyway). If I just let it be how bad can it hurt the coral? Thanks for the help!

I find that with nems that if I get it where I want it and start feeding 3 times a day for a week then taper off to once a week feeding that they usually stay where they are they can be more of a pain then they are worth sometimes it seems

Yes they can sting your corals. I have one that moves constantly however it moved about 3-4 days ago and I can no longer see it:( I love them but they sure can be a pain.

Ha Ha ok. How long does it have to sting it before the coral gets messed up? Also what do you feed your anemone? The funny thing is that I got this guy so that my clown fish would stop hosting in the mushrooms and making those all shriveled up. The clown remains in the mushrooms.

Ha ha that is where my clowns host in my mushrooms! They won't go anywhere near my anenomes and I have a huge toadstool they could host in but no they choose the freaking shrooms!

Oh and I don't know how long it would take, it may not sting them it just depends, my small anemone is hooked to the side of my toadstool with no issues.
