This morning when I was getting ready to feed (letting the food thaw in a little cup on top of the tank), Mr. Bat was getting excited to eat and pooped out some green poop. I thought it was unusual to see algae poop.

I was wrong.
You see, yesterday I had noticed Mr. Bat nipping at some hair algae on the drainpipe, which has been missed by snails. So today I was reading up on my new batfish and found that algae is a preferred food! I looked at the place where Mr. Bat was nipping and to my surprise, the algae was no longer 1/2 inch long, but just a short fuzz!

Then I looked along the entire back of the tank where there were other missed spots. To my amazement all the long algae is gone!

Wow, what a perfect fish for this tank. Thanks Dion
Here is a pic. Thanks Amie.
