Topic: Best place to buy a 65 gal? Posted: October 31 2014 at 4:12pm |
|
Hey fish friends,
I'm back again (I show up every few months). I'm about ready to start up a new tank... the 6 gal nano just isn't cutting it anymore. I have decided to go with a 65 gal. Any suggestion on which local store is the best option to buy a new 65 gal?
Thanks, -Tim

Even in Mozambique you have time for a crappy reef upgrade?
Come get some sand, rock, free Macro and free coral.

Mark,
I wish I was still in Mozambique... it has been 12 nearly 13 years since I was there. Man, how I would love to go back and dive off the coast...
I traded the beautiful Indian Ocean for beach front property to the Great Salt Lake :) Once the tank is up and running (which may still be a few months away). I'll have to stop by!

I think the most obvious answer is that the best place for a tank is here on the forums. Wait till somebody is ready to upgrade and pick yourself up a tank without paying retail price. -punk-

I would suggest supporting our local fish stores so they can afford to keep the lights on. :)

-Punk, I have been watching the forums, which will be great if it works out, but I'm working with my wife to make this my Christmas present. Also, I don't want the whole tank/stand/etc. package. I really enjoy wood working, so I'm looking forward to building my own stand, canopy, etc., to match the furniture in my basement.
That being said, if anyone has a 65 for sale (I'd also consider a 75, 90, or decent sized cube), I'm certainly open to options.
