I don't know about the best, but I'm thinking of getting a pair of these because the price: http://www.hellolights.com/48vt1aqblsua.html. They are supposed to be exactly the same as the URI super actinics just without the internal reflector.

I haven't tried many, but from my experience and others, the best seem to be a combo of URI brand "Super Actinic" and "Actinic White". The internal reflector in each tube is awesome, IMO.

Do you think the internal reflector provides enough light to be worth the 40% increase in price? Granted it's only $12 more (for 2 bulbs) but my VHOs already have a pretty good reflector.

ditto again on the URIs. And I probably would buy the cheaper ones if you have a good reflector already.

If you decide to go with the URI aquasun's, (10,000k bulbs) they are _really_ pink. If you want a more blueish/white I would go with the actinic whites.

Well I just ordered two of the less expensive bulbs, the total came to $36.95 shipped. We'll see how good they are when they arrive.

Just an FYI, when all I have on are the actinics, they are a bluish purple. I think they look great as they balance my much more yellow MH bulbs.
