Just a up  sized to a 75 gal tank. It came with a wet/dry sump(bio balls) I've heard good and bad when running them with a reef tank. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Ditch the bioballs and install a RPD refugium instead. Bioballs are a nitrate factory and also get clogged up with detritus which can crash a tank if they are neglected for any real length of time.

Bioball have a place in the reef aquarium but not in a wet / dry sump.

People use bioballs to raise copepods and amphipods.  There are a couple threads that guys on RC use them in 5 gallon buckets to grow food for their seahorses and such.  For a reef it traps detritus and reduces flow so it grows hair algae and cyano.

You can still use the sump and a sump to house extra live rock or as a refugium.
