So I've heard a bunch of horror stories about BTA's getting stuck in Powerheads and filters.  I have 2 maxijets in my tank and both of them have the cylinder attachment over the intake that prevents small fish and what not from getting sucked in, is this enough, or should I wrap these in bridal vale? Also, I have an Aqua Clear HOB filter, and the intake is similar to the ones on the powerheads.... Opinions anyone?

Thanks,

Tim
