I recently got a new Koralia Pico 150, its pretty small but for some reason my Spotted Mandarin keeps swimming by it and starts to get get sucked into it then pulls away. The Mandarin has been fine so far, im just worried I wont stay so lucky. Any ideas on how to cover it so i dont have Mandarin Sushi all over my tank? I tried using a thin filter pad but it got dirty pretty quick and I was constantly having to clean it. Any other ideas?

This is what the Pico Looks like,

Yeah you could just use the mesh netting stuff people use to make screen tops. I think the aquarium in sandy carries it.

I did the same as 1stupidpunk I bought black plastic canvas it tends to be by the yarn in the craft store. I used plastic zipper ties to secure it around the pump. works great and I only clean mine every 6 months or so
