About 8 months then you need to replace what is used up. The bacteria eats them.

You see any changes yet?  Just curious, I like the idea they are more cost efficient than Bio-Pellets.

Haven't started them yet but I will on Monday. Been buzy with new rock etc.

Thank you for the generous offer, I'm not ready to use it yet.  I still need to assemble my reactor.

It was nice meeting you also.  Can't wait to see your tank when you go all SPS.

It's actually pretty close now! I'm makinfg some shaded areas for my chalice. I'm going to be using a brs reactor with the sponges replaced with holey plastic. Have them also if anyone needs them
